DevOps

With the increasing demand for cloud adaptation in different businesses, I’ve been seeing an increasing demand for DevOps engineers in Bangladesh & across the globe. So today’s short blog is about what DevOps engineers do & how can you become DevOps engineers with the roadmap, functional & technical components.

A DevOps engineer introduces processes, tools, and methodologies to balance needs throughout the software development life cycle, from coding and deployment to maintenance and updates. Simply put DevOps engineers reduces complexity, closing the gap between actions needed to quickly change an application, and the tasks that maintain its’ reliability.

Development teams & IT operations teams can have different skills & different goals. Developers want to introduce new features to an application, while the operation team wants to preserve the stability of the application once it’s released.

DevOps is all about the unification & automation process, and DevOps engineers are instrumental in combining code, application maintenance & application management.

All of these tasks rely on understanding not only the development lifecycle, but DevOps culture, and its’ philosophy, practices & tools.

Maybe you want to shift your career to DevOps or train yourself to drive adoption within your company then you definitely need to know these basics.
